What you need: worsted weight yarn in orange, a 4mm hook, fiberfill, yarn needle.
Work a basic sphere shape by increasing and decreasing single crochet rounds. Stuff it firmly. Cinch the top closed and add a small brown stem shape sewn on top.
Tip: pull your yarn tail through the middle a few times to create those classic pumpkin ridges.
